Our Team

Our State-of-the-Art Facility

Our products, which are made of either knitted or braided fiberglass yarns on a flexible substrate, are designed to protect hoses, wires, tubes/pipes, and cables from the hazards of high heat and occasional flame and/or to provide optimal thermal insulation in these applications. When coated with our high-quality silicone, these products provide continuous protection to 500°F/260°C and withstand molten splash up to 2200°F/1200°C. Products without silicone coating provide continuous protection to 1000°F/540°C.

Resistant to hydraulic fluids, lubricating oils, and fuels, it insulates against energy loss in piping and hosing; protects employees from burns; and allows “bundling” of wires, hoses, and cables. The braided version, more commonly used in aerospace applications, allows qualified hose assemblies to pass AS1055D testing understated flow and pressure conditions.

Our tapes, made with a knitted fiberglass substrate, are the ideal product to use for hose sizes greater than 5 inches; when you do not have access to the hose ends; or to facilitate a repair insitu.

Firesleeve.com is your one-stop shop for standard industrial grade (knit) or aerospace type (braid) firesleeve. Each product may be purchased most economically in 100-foot boxes. The sleeves may also be purchased by the foot, thus avoiding the cost of scrap.
